Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and air/brake system faults Repair engines, gearboxes, differentials, suspension, braking systems, and steering Inspect trailers including axles, landing legs, kingpins, air lines, and braking systems Conduct pre-roadworthy and post-repair inspections Attend to breakdowns and carry out on-site repairs when required Complete job cards, inspection reports, and maintenance logs accurately Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and order in the workshop Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times Work closely with supervisors and fleet controllers
