Job Description
Key Outputs
Quickly and efficiently diagnose machine systems and carry out repairs, Fault Finding, and on Earthmoving Equipment in Mogalakwena.
Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports including Machine Inspection Reports (MIR's) and Technical Analysis Reports (TA's).
Maintain professional image when representing BWE.
Ensure safe work practice by following procedures and risk assessments.
Control Contamination.
Control own admin (labour booking, service reports, part returns, expenses etc.)
Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistent and accurate. maintained.
Execute hardware and software product updates.
Strong Electrical background.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Grade 12/matric or equivalent
Qualified in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) Machine specific technical and Product knowledge - Cat equipment, Hydraulic shovels (HMS), Electronic and Engines Systems. 5 Years
Strong Engine knowledge on engines, electronic and ET systems, troubleshooting, datalinks, networking, GNSS, and databases
Basic technical report writing.
Standby Duties
Computer Literacy (ET, SIMSi, DSN, CPI, TSC, etc.) knowledge.
Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
Drivers licence - Code B & PDP
Understanding of supplier warranty systems, policies & procedures.
