Job Summary Our team is expanding ! We're looking for a qualified truck and trailer mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience repairing and maintaining both trucks and trailers specifically trailers with BPW or Henred axles. They must be able to troubleshoot problems quickly and effectively and have a strong commitment to safety. Duties: Perform routine maintenance on the vehicles and trailers, including oil changes, tire and brake inspections, and fluid and chassis checks. Diesel forklift repairs and troubleshoot any faults ,electrical ,and mechanical Repair and maintain Air brake systems on trailers. Servicing of trailers (Shoes , drums , bearings etc) Identify opportunities to improve the fleets efficiency. Identify and report equipment failures Plan efficient ways to repair mentioned failures to ensure the least possible down time. Able to produce estimated timelines for jobs. Basic trailer electrical knowledge.
