Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION
Responsible for creating and subscribing top line LNS codes for products and accessories. Responsible for creating, maintaining and improving master data for companies products in the MDR/ERP environment. This includes LNS code creation, Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings and item data required for accurate manufacturing, costing, procurement and reporting. The role supports the TPF process, administers the engineering service desk platform, compiles local product data sheets in Perfion. The MDR Data Capturer ensures data accuracy and integrity so that technical, production, supply chain, finance and sales can operate effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS

• Matric.
• National Diploma - Mechanical or Industrial Engineering beneficial.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years' experience working with ERP/MDR systems in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience in item master data, BOMs, routings and product structures.
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central (or similar ERP) advantageous.
• Experience in the Manufacturing / Engineering sector.
• Data entry and data quality management with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work with large volumes of data and multiple product lines.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications (advantageous).
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Planning and organising skills; able to manage own workload and priorities.
• Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new systems and processes.
