Job Advert Summary
Rondebosch Boys' High School, in conjunction with Epoch & Optima Trusts, is offering an exciting teacher internship position for aspiring Mathematics teachers in 2026. Qualified teachers are unfortunately, not eligible. This opportunity allows for a real teaching experience in a highly functioning school, as well as the possibility of full-time employment SHOULD a Mathematics position become available iin 2027
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must be enrolled in a PCGE or final year BEd programme in Mathematics Teaching through correspondence in 2026.
Duties and Responsibilities
Co-teaching at least two Mathematics classes, and one other subject class as required, for the duration of the year
Involvement in other learning areas as per the candidate's qualifications
Participation in the varied extra-curricular activities at RBHS
Mentoring by an experienced, qualified teacher
