Job Description
We are looking for a Master Vehicle Technician with a vehicle dealership in Johannesburg.
Duties and Responsibilities: Conducting work preparation and fault diagnosis, Perform repairs and maintenance of vehicles, Conduct final inspections and functional tests, Prepare relevant reports for vehicle hand-over and Ensure quality standards are met in order to achieve the Standards of Excellence.
Requirements:
- Conducting work preparation and fault diagnosis.
- Perform repairs and maintenance of vehicles.
- Conduct final inspections and functional tests.
- Prepare relevant reports for vehicle hand-over.
- Ensure quality standards are met in order to achieve the Standards of Excellence.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience as a qualified vehicle technician.
- 2-3 years should ideally be at a senior or diagnostic technician level within a franchise/corporate dealership.
- Proof of Qualification as Technician (Trade Test/Red Seal).
- Master Technician Qualification (STARS ID to be provided).
- Working with corporate brands like Nissan, Ford, BMW, Audi etc.
- Unendorsed Drivers Licence.
- Computer Literate.
- Successful demonstration of competency.
- Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Solid knowledge of fault finding and diagnostic machines.
- Excellent customer orientation.
