Marketing Specialist position available in Johannesburg.
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing the company's marketing strategy, focusing on developing B2B content, managing digital platforms, and generating materials to support the sales team in targeting corporate clients.
Salary: R20,000 - R33 000 per month.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation and Management
Develop and manage a content calendar for digital platforms, ensuring alignment with service offerings (Occupational Health, Wellness, Training).
Write and edit professional content, including blog posts, case studies, company news, and website copy, ensuring technical accuracy and brand consistency.
Assist in the creation of corporate documents and white papers used for lead generation and client education.
2. Digital and Social Media Management
Manage and update the company website content (e.g., WordPress or similar CMS), ensuring all information is current and accurate.
Oversee the company's professional social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook), scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding professionally to queries.
Implement basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques to improve organic visibility for key services.
3. Sales Enablement and Support
Design and maintain sales collateral, including brochures, corporate presentations, service flyers, and internal communications.
Execute targeted email marketing campaigns to prospects and existing clients to promote specific services and drive engagement.
Manage the inventory and quality of branded promotional items.
4. Reporting and Performance Tracking
Track and report on marketing performance metrics (e.g., website traffic, content downloads, social media engagement, email campaign performance).
Assist in market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new client segment opportunities within the corporate health sector.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Science, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably within a B2B (Business-to-Business) environment.
Proven experience managing professional social media platforms and updating website content via a Content Management System (CMS).
Skills and Proficiencies:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to write clear, professional, and persuasive marketing copy.
Proficiency with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, email marketing software like Mailchimp, basic SEO tools).
Basic graphic design skills or proficiency with design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe InDesign/Illustrator) for creating marketing materials is beneficial.
