Marketing Specialist, Foreign Markets - Jhb, Northern SuburbsAs the Marketing Specialist, Foreign Markets you will be responsible for implementing agreed marketing strategies to enhance the firm's visibility, reputation and client base across select foreign jurisdictions primarily through the LEX Africa (alliance members of leading elite law firms) law alliance and the Law Firms International Desk. You will play a pivotal role as part of the Law Firm's Business & Practice Development Team.Responsibilities:Marketing initiatives:Collaborate with the various legal teams and LEX Africa members in the development and roll-out of agreed marketing plans that align with the firm's and LEX Africa's overall business objectives.Research and report writing:Conduct research, compile presentations and provide reports that support international roadshows and trips; as well as for internal dissemination.Database management:Maintain a central log of activities related to: incoming and outgoing referrals; conflict checks; and related fees and client activities.Events:Plan, coordinate and participate in select events that promote the firm's and LEX Africa members' expertise and ensure all event activities are recorded.Digital marketing:Lead LEX Africa's digital marketing efforts across website, social media and email marketing platforms.Budget management:Manage the LEX Africa marketing budget.Pitch support:Provide support as needed on Africa-related pitches and maintain the relevant pitch materials.Requirements and Competencies:Bachelors degree preferredMin 3 years working experienceProven experience rolling out marketing initiativesGood command of the English languageAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCapable of working collaboratively across numerous stakeholdersStrong administrative skillsDelivery-orientatedAttention to detailAbility to prioriti
