Documentation, planning and operational support during peak season
Coordination related to logistics or stock (depending on internal needs)
Communication with clients, suppliers and internal teams
Basic financial/record-keeping tasks (e.g., invoices, data entry, updating systems)
General operational assistance wherever needed
Marketing of fruit, both locally and internationally
Liaison with agents
Logistics coordination
Debtors' liaison and processing
Data processing and statistics
Procurement of packaging, etc.
Assistant to management
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:00 on-site
Seasonal work cycle:
Quiet Season: April - November
Peak Season: November - March
Note: No leave can be taken during peak season.
Requirements:
Qualification in marketing
Global GAP knowledge
Experience with Sage
Advanced Excel skills
Agricultural administration experience
Fluent in Afrikaans (English proficiency advantageous)
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Must be adaptable and comfortable functioning as an "all-rounder"
High energy levels and the ability to work well under pressure
Experience in the fruit industry (or agricultural environment) is a strong advantage
Own vehicle
Good communication, computer and problem-solving skills
