Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive firm-wide, and internationally based marketing strategy to consistently generate qualified leads for our sales team.
  • Deliver leads as per required monthly targets for both inbound and outbound initiatives
  • Serve as a thought leader for our brand and content, driving inbound and outbound marketing strategies through web, social media, SEO, content creation and all other required channels.
  • Optimise and maintain firm-wide SEO
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, sales, and customer success, to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our target audience.
  • Assist with organising events together with our sales team.
  • Work with our customers to create case studies and success stories to demonstrate the value of our software solutions.
  • Identify and understand the key personas within our target market, and develop messaging and positioning to drive change and establish our company as a leading solution provider.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop & maintain a rolling twelve-month digital marketing plan. Drive the execution of the campaigns and activities within the plan.
  • Manage the company's digital strategy, including web, SEO, content marketing, and social media.
  • Manage the companys marketing automation platform in collaboration with the sales team
  • Ensure Marketing contributes and adds value to the customer journey from the initial contact through to sales hand over.
  • Collaborate with exco, marketing and product marketing teammates to optimise our website and content marketing (blog, social media assets, and more), as well as maintain the basic functions of our websites.
  • Research and monitor competitors
  • Use competitive intelligence to inform product positioning and messaging
  • Other related/relevant tasks as directed by the Executive team.
Data Responsibilities
  • Research & generate quality market data, including the identification and qualification of quality leads.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact, lead, and opportunity information in our marketing and CRM other key systems.
  • Ensure all marketing automation processes are in place and well maintained with data integrity throughout
  • Measure and report on the customer journey as it relates to product adoption and usage
  • Report on leads, lead forecasts and concluded marketing events/campaigns as required.
  • Assist the firm to submit applications & report marketing results to partner/supplier organisations
  • Deliver specific lead targets monthly and quarterly as defined by exco and ensure these are handed over to the necessary team members according to the company policy and processes
  • Ensure the Marketing Scorecard is delivered as per company policy and deadlines
We understand that you might not be proficient in all of above and we are looking for a leader who can think for themselves and drive it forward, potentially with the help of freelancers for the practical work (such as SEO optimisation).
  • Marketing degree/diploma or equivalent working experience.
  • Prior experience in marketing leadership for a SaaS based tech company, product marketing, and courageously opening doors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills --- there is a heavy amount of writing and presenting/selling ideas in this role. Our buyers are C-Level executives from Professional Services firms
  • Proficiency in marketing related software tools, including CMS platforms (WiX/Wordpress or similar), email marketing software (Hubspot), web-analytics tools, optimizing conversion paths, and testing buyer stage-specific CTAs.
  • Hubspot and CMS experience is highly beneficial.
