Job Description


We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager within the Hospitality industry for the Northern Pretoria area.

Position overview:

  • The ideal candidate will possess expertise in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans, with a focus on digital marketing, social media marketing, public relations, brand management, and lead generation strategies. Strive for continuous improvement all marketing of the business though email campaigns, social media platforms, advertising campaigns, web-based marketing, collateral, brand identity products and services to ensure the successful application of the property in the marketplace.
  • Overall responsibility for the branding & corporate image of the company, including all required graphic design work for online, social media and print applications including the management of the corporate image on all networks and web applications.
  • Full onsite marketing and collateral as well as the implementation of all medias, brochures, and collateral.
Requirements:
  • Matric
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Proven experience in a senior marketing management role, preferably in the hospitality industry
Job Knowledge:
  • Graphic Design
  • Advanced computer knowledge
  • Various social media platforms posting, ad management, post management.
  • Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of the Public Relations, Design and Marketing industry Knowledge of design and printing processes
  • Knowledge of corporate identity and brand management
  • Advanced knowledge in design programs and relevant software
  • Statistical marketing research
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in digital marketing, social media marketing, and public relations

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive business growth and brand awareness.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of digital marketing, including website management, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and online advertising campaigns.
  • Oversee social media marketing efforts across various platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with our target audience.
  • Manage and execute best practices in public relations to enhance the resort's reputation and visibility in the market.
  • Control all design aspects to ensure consistency and alignment with the brand identity.
  • Create and maintain a strong brand identity and awareness through impactful marketing initiatives.
  • Manage marketing efforts to generate leads across multiple channels and segments. Optimize online presence and exposure through effective management of relevant platforms. Drive large-scale brand awareness campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Compile and manage a detailed marketing calendar, coordinating all marketing activities and campaigns effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Ensure a proven track record of achieving a positive return on investment (ROI) for marketing efforts.
Admin:
  • Responsible for compilation and preparation of all marketing reports including forecasts, budgets, and any other reports requested to provide the General Manager with the necessary information to facilitate cost effective decision making.
  • Responsible for all design work and the implementation thereof.
  • Manage and maintain an efficient reporting and statistic system.
  • Ensure correct, timeous preparation of monthly reports for presentation to the General Manager.
  • Measuring key performance indicators.
