Qualification and Experience

  • Relevant Degree in Marketing with a concentration in marketing, communications, or journalism
  • Minimum four (5) years' experience in Communications and/or Internal Communications and Employee Engagement
What will you do?

The position of Internal Marketing Specialist exists in MiWay. The primary goal of this role is to create and execute effective communication strategies that foster a transparent, informed, and engaged work environment within MiWay. We are looking for a communication maestro with a flair for crafting messages that resonate and inspire. Someone with a knack for turning complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives and turning events into memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Assist with the development and implementation of internal marketing strategies that amplify MiWay's culture, purpose, and values.
  • Craft compelling and informative content for various internal communications channels (SPO, email, newsletters, face-to-face workshops, etc.)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather content and ensure accuracy in messaging.
  • Plan and execute communication campaigns around key initiatives, events, and milestones.
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of communication efforts, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Assist with the implementation of all EVP and Culture strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR, Learning & Development teams, and other functions on content development, creative writing, and curation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and drive the implementation of internal events and employee engagements.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by GM for Internal Marketing or HOD.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements
  • Relevant Degree in Marketing with a concentration in marketing, communications, or journalism
  • Minimum four (5) years' experience in Communications and/or Internal Communications and Employee Engagement
  • A creative thinker who can bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as an integral member of the team while maintaining effective working relationships with other stakeholders.
  • Superior collaboration and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management.
  • Proactive ability to identify and understand the needs of employees and leadership of the organisation with the ability to follow through on developing solutions to address those needs.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
