Job Purpose
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing initiatives to attract new customers, retain existing clients, and strengthen overall brand presence. This is a hands-on, results-driven role requiring close collaboration with sales and senior management to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Marketing & Planning
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activity
Prepare annual and quarterly marketing plans and budgets
Measure, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Brand Management
Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity across all platforms
Ensure brand consistency in all marketing materials, communications, and campaigns
Oversee corporate identity usage and adherence to brand guidelines
Digital & Traditional Marketing
Manage digital marketing channels, including the website, social media, email marketing, and online advertising
Plan and execute traditional marketing activities such as print media, signage, promotions, and events
Oversee content creation, copywriting, and design of marketing materials
Campaign & Project Management
Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables
Liaise with external agencies, designers, printers, and media partners
Sales & Internal Collaboration
Work closely with the sales team to support lead generation and customer acquisition
Develop marketing tools to support sales initiatives (e.g. brochures, presentations, proposals)
Align marketing activities with sales targets and business development strategies
Reporting & Administration
Track marketing expenditure and ensure responsible use of the company credit card
Prepare regular performance and progress reports for management
Maintain accurate records of campaigns, suppliers, and marketing assets
Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
Effective execution of marketing strategies and campaigns
Increased brand awareness and market presence
Lead generation and support of sales performance
Budget management and return on investment (ROI)
Adherence to deadlines and quality standards
Minimum Requirements Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Marketing Manager or senior marketing role
Proven experience in both digital and traditional marketing
Experience managing marketing budgets and external suppliers
Skills & Competencies
Strong strategic thinking and analytical ability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management and organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing-related software/tools
Valid driver's license (required for company vehicle use)
