1. Strategic Leadership
Define and drive the overall Prescription brand portfolio strategy in alignment with business objectives.
Ensure brand-specific strategies are fully integrated with medical, regulatory, and sales priorities.
Oversee clinical positioning, claim substantiation, and the development of evidence-based marketing approaches.
2. HCP Marketing Excellence
Deliver high-quality detailing materials, including detail aids, objection handlers, and leave-behinds.
Lead CME/CPD initiatives, advisory boards, and KOL engagement to strengthen scientific credibility.
Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs to ensure compliant, accurate, and credible messaging.
Utilise digital detailing platforms to create, manage, and track closed-loop detail aids for enhanced HCP engagement.
Ensure all Prescription campaigns are CLM-compliant and contribute to measurable improvements in call quality.
3. Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop the Prescription Brand Management team.
Strengthen marketing capability in data-driven strategy, HCP engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Conduct regular performance reviews, manage skills development, and support succession planning.
4. Market Insights & Analysis
Analyse script trends, competitor activity, and HCP insights to inform strategy.
Translate market intelligence into actionable Prescription marketing plans.
Track ROI on HCP campaigns and optimise activities for maximum impact.
Convert digital detailing insights into strategic recommendations for field execution.
Leverage CLM analytics (e.g., fingerprints, completion rates, sequence analysis) to refine messaging and improve performance.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Medical, and Regulatory teams to ensure coordinated and compliant execution.
Provide strategic marketing input to the Head of Marketing and broader executive leadership.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance teams to support accurate forecasting, budgeting, and planning.
6. Compliance & Governance
Ensure all Prescription marketing activities adhere to SAHPRA regulations and industry codes of practice.
Maintain robust approval processes for all Prescription campaigns, materials, and HCP-facing content.
The Successful Applicant
Education: Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field. MBA advantageous.
Experience: 5+ years in prescription brand management/marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Skills: Strategic planning, KOL management, clinical communication, analytical capability, team leadership.
