Job Description


We have a vacancy for an exceptional Marketing Manager to join us at our Fourways Head Office. The ideal candidate will be results-driven and have experience working in a fast-paced environment. Having worked in a multi-national is advantageous.

Key Performance Areas include:

1) Branding Strategy (the look and the feel of the brand)
- Lead agencies and internal team members where appropriate, to execute all communication activities and public relations (marketing material, advertising, client communications, direct mail, marketing campaigns, press releases, content for industry publications, internal and external events.
- Ensure that web messaging is consistent with overall brand objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure proper messaging of company ethos and service offerings.
- Accurate communication to the market; successful brand recognition and improvement through brand surveys.
- Conducting brand surveys and execution of NPS
2) Communications Strategies
- Research, develop and implement a Brand and Communications strategy, standards and practices company-wide that elicit the behaviour, emotion and recognition objectives of the company - BQIgnite Administration and Content Creation
- Develop key messages for all audiences to communicate ManpowerGroup SA's core brand identity
- Oversee the writing of press releases, copy for marketing materials, reports, advertisements, and other related material
- Manage media relations, research editorial opportunities and build relationships with key industry media
- Work closely with PR partner to ensure messaging is consistent with overall communications objectives
- Accurate and timely communication; messaging alignment with company strategy
3) Stakeholder relations
- Establish and build relationships at various community levels
- Communicate issues at management levels
- Establish relationships with relevant industry related stakeholders and bodies
- Active engagement with stakeholders
4) Brand Strategy
- Develop, monitor and improve processes to link all marketing activities with the activities of Business Development and Operations
- Work closely with Senior Management to improve processes that link corporate brand building activities and product development activities
- Ensure that the brand and the PR partner relationship is appropriately structured
- Continuous improvement programme - align strategy vis a vis previous year vs. current
- Brand development and improvement in the market
5) Management Member
- Active contributor to Management conversations
- Contribute toward decision making
- Contribute to strategic planning
6) Miscellaneous and General
- Ad hoc document creation across organisation
- Competitor analysis and market trends
- Marketing Trends
- Data Privacy administration in conjunction with Information Security

Qualifications & Experience

- Degree or Higher Diploma
- Project Management Qualification advantageous
- Exceptional computer skills, however the successful candidate will be upskilled to bespoke software packages
- 5+ Years Experience in a Corporate Marketing Environment
- POPIA knowledge
