Job Overview



We are seeking a highly organised and driven Marketing Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing and delivering all marketing initiatives to a world-class standard. You will manage campaign strategy, brand development, marketing materials, and digital content, ensuring all communications reflect our high-quality brand identity.

You will take ownership of both day-to-day and strategic marketing operations, manage third-party providers, and play a vital role in generating high-value leads and new opportunities for the business. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced, remote environment.

The Marketing Manager will be accountable to the Managing Director and will be the key point of contact for all marketing activity across the business.

Duties



Marketing Materials & Website:

Oversee the production of world-class marketing assets, including brochures and website updates. Write compelling copy, ensure materials align with the Ultimate FD brand, and collaborate with designers to meet deadlines and deliver excellence.

Podcast Management:

Take full responsibility for the management of our podcast platform. This includes coordinating the recording of new adverts, managing sponsor relationships, writing podcast copy, and ensuring a consistently high standard across all episodes. Work with guests to elevate the value of the podcast and develop strategies to post episodes across multiple platforms, including YouTube.

Email Marketing & CRM:

Manage the company's Mailchimp account, including the creation and automation of marketing emails. Organise and maintain lead lists to ensure streamlined and effective communication with prospects and clients.

ScoreApp & Lead Magnets:

Take ownership of multiple ScoreApp scorecards, ensuring bespoke reports are of the highest quality. Focus on user experience and maintain a seamless journey from initial interaction to lead conversion, with branding consistent throughout.

Campaigns:

Work alongside the Managing Director to plan and execute four high-impact marketing campaigns annually. Develop schedules, write engaging content, and ensure all assets are ready well in advance. Coordinate activity with the Social Media Manager to align with the wider content calendar.

Paid Advertising:

Should the business use paid ads in the future, oversee the performance of any third-party providers and ensure paid marketing efforts are aligned with campaign goals.

Book Promotion:

Ensure the Ultimate FD book is utilised as a key marketing asset and integrated across all channels, maximising its reach and impact.

Management & Coordination:

Manage all third-party marketing providers, lead the production of new brochures, web design, and ensure links for booking calls and viewings are current. Maintain a high standard of marketing content across all platforms and ensure it is delivered on time and in line with business goals.

Qualifications & Experience



With prior experience in a similar marketing role, you will have a strong grasp of campaign management, copywriting, and multi-channel marketing strategy. You will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and a talent for clear communication. Experience in using marketing tools such as Mailchimp, ScoreApp, or similar platforms is essential.

Experience in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, ideally in an SME environment Proven ability to write persuasive, brand-aligned copy Strong organisational and project management skills Comfortable working with third-party suppliers and managing stakeholder relationships Proficient in digital marketing tools and CRM platforms Reliable, deadline-focused, and detail-oriented A calm, professional manner when working under pressure or to tight deadlines
