Award winning agri-tech company seeks Marketing Manager / Head of Marketing to join our growth trajectory from a start-up to a scale-up enterprise. This role would suit someone who can drive market growth and firm profits with innovative marketing strategies. Role Description This is a full time remote position. The Marketing Manager/Head of Marketing will be responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of the company's marketing strategy, including creating and implementing campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and analysing results. The Marketing Manager/Head of Marketing will be a key member of the leadership team and will work closely with the COO and CEO to develop and execute brand strategy. Responsibilities

  • Evaluating and optimising marketing and pricing strategies
  • Generating new business leads
  • Increasing brand awareness and market share
  • Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales department
  • Developing and managing the marketing department's budget
  • Overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns
  • Managing the marketing team
  • Preparing marketing reports to senior management
  • Promoting our brand at trade shows and major industry-related events
  • Keeping informed of marketing strategies and trends
  • Producing marketing material
  • Organising and attending events
  • Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, improving customer engagement
  • Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Meta, Hootsuite Pro and Facebook Insights
  • Managing a high volume of daily social media posts
  • Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results
  • Performing other duties when needed
Requirements
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a management role
  • Demonstrated success overseeing and executing marketing campaigns, with experience in digital, social, and traditional media
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to measure ROI on marketing efforts
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to executive teams
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans (due to client base)
  • Experience in the agriculture or tech industry is a plus
  • Experience in a startup or scaling environment is a plus
