Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth for the OBEL product line. Develop and execute expansion and listings into physical stores. Identify opportunities for novel revenue streams through innovative campaigns, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives. Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscapes to inform data-driven decisions that foster sustainable growth. Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media, content creation, SEO, and email campaigns, while overseeing traditional media where applicable. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and external agencies, to align marketing activities with business objectives. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and campaign ROI, with a focus on attributable results from marketing efforts. Ensure all marketing materials adhere to regulatory standards and reflect OBEL's commitment to quality and integrity.

Qualifications and Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is advantageous. At least 3-5 years of experience in marketing management, preferably within the health, wellness, or consumer goods sector. Proven track record of driving revenue growth through creative and results-oriented marketing initiatives. Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights), and consumer behavior in the South African market. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software; experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. Must be a current user of OBEL products, with a genuine passion for the brand and its mission to promote health and wellness. Experience in pharmaceutical sales is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:



Competitive basic salary of R20,000 - R45,000 per month depending on field related experience. Performance-based incentives: Earn 5% commission on new OBEL brand revenue directly attributable to your marketing efforts and achieved growth. After successful completion of the probationary period (typically 3-6 months), eligibility for comprehensive benefits including medical aid and provident fund contributions.
