About the Role

Macmillan Education - South Africa is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is looking to enter the working world and is hungry to learn and gain industry knowledge in the exciting world of publishing. In this one year Internship you will assist the marketing team and get hands-on experience as well asA industry exposure in the publishing space.

Role Responsibilities

Assist with packing and sending sample materials to Regions/National Sales team and schools Assist with planning shoots (scheduling, shot lists, location scouting aEUR" even if it's just around the office or school). Set up video equipment (tripods, lights, mic tests)A Help Record BTS (Behind-the-Scenes) footage for use in fun team content or bloopers. Help create short teaser clips or reels for TikTok, Instagram, or internal WhatsApp sharing. Pitch new video ideas

Support uploading new product details, updating images etc.
Run weekly website audits and check for any broken links, outdated information, and errors etc. Assist in storyboarding concepts for new series or campaigns. Research video trends in education or publishing for local relevance.

Experience , Skills & Qualifications

Matric/Undergraduate degree in relevant field Good communication skills Microsoft Office proficiencyA Ability to problem solve
