MARKETING GRADUATE INTERN (12 Month Contract) Durbanville, Cape Town

Our client, a Global FMCG concern is in search of a highly motivated and creative Marketing Intern to assist their local Marketing Team across a variety of projects and initiatives.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To support the marketing team (Marketing Manager & Brand Manager) with executing the marketing plan. Over the course of the internship, you will gain exposure to a broad range of marketing activities, from concept development to post-campaign analysis and across several brands.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:

• Bachelor of Commerce Degree in marketing ideally or related (NQF Level 7 is essential!)
• Preferred 0 to 1 years of marketing experience gained within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry
• Digital marketing experience as well as prior exposure to marketing activations would be highly advantageous
• Own transport and valid drivers license

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Campaigns

• Participate in campaign development in collaboration with agencies and sales teams to build strong 360xc2xb0 plans.
• Assist with execution of trade plans, including POSM, Retailer Media, Wet Demos, Consumer Goodies
• Support the creation and implementation of the media plan, including creative asset development across on- and offline media channels.
• Contribute to internal & external presentations.
• Assist with A&P tracking and reporting.

Assist with Analyzing Business and Market Performance

• Support the creation and delivery of monthly sales reports.
• Assist with post-campaign analysis (ROI).
• Support with Ad Hoc reports.
• Deliver competitive reviews.

Support the Launch of New Products

• Participate in the development of new products in collaboration with industrial operations, sales, packaging, and supply chain.
• Assist with the creation of internal & external supporting material.
• Support with portfolio management.

Assist with the Monthly Digital Plan and Annual CSR Program

• Participate in the briefing and development of the Monthly Digital Plan
• Support with the implementation of the CSR Nutrition Program
