Job description
Brand Support

  • Support the implementation of the annual category marketing calendar in collaboration with Product and Sales teams.
  • Coordinate product launches, packaging updates, toolkits, and communication materials.
  • Assist with the development of signage, POS material, display stands, and promotional give-aways.
  • Coordinate advertising and branding activities with internal stakeholders.
  • Support product and sales training initiatives and track effectiveness.
Promotions
  • Assist in developing and executing promotional campaigns in line with category plans.
  • Brief agencies or internal resources and manage timelines and approvals.
  • Track campaign performance, assist with ROI reporting, and post-campaign reviews.
  • Communicate and roll out promotions to the sales team and support monthly Action Items updates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers.
Events & Branding
  • Coordinate brand events, factory tours, trade shows, and sales activations.
  • Roll out branding materials and merchandising across trade and retail environments.
  • Conduct trade visits and gather market and competitor insights.
Digital Marketing & Communication
  • Assist with social media content planning and execution.
  • Maintain and update brand websites to ensure alignment with corporate messaging.
  • Support digital storytelling through testimonials, case studies, photography, and video content.
  • Coordinate customer communications via WhatsApp Business and emailers.
  • Assist with analytics reporting for websites and social platforms.
Administration & Budget Management
  • Manage day-to-day marketing budgets for the Brakes & Chemicals categories.
  • Obtain quotes, manage suppliers, and coordinate promotional stock and distribution.
  • Monitor stock levels and re-order points in collaboration with Purchasing.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for management and board meetings.
Minimum requirements
  • Matric and a relevant 3-year degree or diploma
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in brand management, marketing, and promotions
  • Proven experience managing marketing budgets
  • Strong design capability using Canva or similar tools
  • At least 2 years' experience creating social media content and copy
  • Experience coordinating events, show stands, and sponsorships
  • Experience with website and social media analytics
