As a Marketing Coordinator, you play a critical role in executing and managing supplier-funded marketing activities, ensuring that budgets are optimised and aligned with strategic objectives. This role is a balance of execution, stakeholder management, & planning, requiring precision in reporting, collaboration with suppliers, & seamless coordination across multiple marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for managing Marketing Development Funds (MDF) by liaising with suppliers, drafting proposals, securing approvals, & ensuring compliance with funding requirements. You will also spearhead B2B and B2C activities such as customer events, roadshows, roundtables, expos, activations, & mall activations, as well as supplier-backed internal initiatives like floor days, sales incentives, & team training.



Additionally, you will manage marketing material and branded collateral, ensuring accurate distribution and accessibility across teams, platforms, & activations. You will also maintain key marketing resources, such as the content management system and marketing calendar, keeping assets updated and opportunities visible. Your work ensures that supplier investments translate into high-impact campaigns and activities that consistently help to drive sales.

Minimum Requirements



Requirements


A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a marketing coordinator role or similar. An undergraduate degree in marketing or a related field is preferred, but we welcome applicants with relevant certifications or equivalent professional experience. We recognise that there are diverse paths to expertise.
Skills


Experience in handling MDF-funded marketing activities, including budget tracking, approvals, & POE reporting. Proven experience managing customer events, brand activations, & supplier-funded marketing activities. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with suppliers, vendors, agencies, & internal teams. Highly organised and capable of juggling multiple campaigns, suppliers, vendors, agencies, tasks, & deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft 365. Familiarity with marketing software and online applications like MailChimp, Google Analytics 4, WordPress, Make.com, Monday.com, or similar is advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities



Cross-functional collaboration


Assist with marketing and advertising projects, activities, & campaigns as/when needed. Keep the marketing calendar updated, proactively assess opportunities, & align execution with deadlines. Manage and maintain the content management system (CMS) to ensure all assets are accessible, updated, and properly categorised. Support other marketing team members on execution-heavy tasks where needed. Assist the marketing manager with the expense workflow (and user troubleshooting as/when needed).
Event management


Plan, coordinate, & execute B2B events like customer dinners, roadshows, roundtables, & trade shows. Plan, coordinate, & execute consumer-facing events like mall activations, expos, & seasonal campaigns. Handle all internal marketing-initiated activities like sales incentives, floor days, & training sessions. Ensure all event logistics are handled smoothly, from venue bookings to partner coordination. Track event performance for reporting purposes.
Marketing material & collateral


Oversee the production, distribution, and management of marketing collateral, including physical branding, promotional materials, and event assets. Ensure all supplier-branded materials are produced in line with brand guidelines and approved ahead of time. Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and collateral for marketing activities.
Reporting


Collate quantitative and qualitative data from customer events, internal activities, & brand activations to share with the marketing manager (along with feedback & suggestions). Create reports for supplier-funded activities, supported with extensive POE and performance data.
Supplier & marketing development funds (MDF)


Work directly with the Marketing Manager to ensure strategic activities are aligned with ROI & growth objectives for supplier campaigns. Manage MDF available budgets proactively, ensuring that funding is fully allocated and maximised for each supplier. Create and submit marketing proposals to suppliers, aligned with business strategic objectives. Track all supplier-funded activities, securing approvals and managing the execution process. * Compile and submit all Proof of Execution (POE) reports, including supporting data, feedback, & visuals.
