About the Role
We're looking for a detail-driven and proactive
Marketing Coordinator
to support our e-commerce and marketplace growth. Reporting to the E-Commerce Specialist, you will play a key role in optimizing our product catalogue, coordinating with suppliers and platform partners, and driving product visibility and sales performance across platforms such as Takealot and Amazon.
This is a critical support role at the heart of our Sales & Marketing team, ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, organization, and contributing to commercial success in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Optimize product listings (titles, descriptions, images, keywords) across online platforms
Ensure all listings meet platform compliance standards and SLA metrics
Coordinate with suppliers to gather product assets and specifications
Ensure visuals and content reflect our premium brand identity
Monitor SKU performance and suggest promotional or optimization actions
Conduct competitor pricing and keyword research
Flag underperforming products and support improvement strategies
Maintain catalogue documentation and update trackers
Generate weekly performance and catalogue update reports
Support the commercial team with product onboarding and new account setup
Who We're Looking For
1-3 years of experience in marketing coordination, digital merchandising, or e-commerce
Hands-on experience with platforms like Takealot, Amazon, or Shopify
Strong Excel/Google Sheets and basic data analysis skills
Excellent written communication and content review abilities
Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused
