Job Description

  • Assist with implementing the unit operations plan by understanding key activities and performance measures, communicating with stakeholders, and monitoring daily execution.
  • Report on performance by tracking progress against targets, identifying concerns, and submitting clear, timely reports quarterly and as needed.
  • Comply with policies by staying up to date, participating in training, and resolving policy-related queries daily and as needed.
  • Follow established processes by applying current procedures correctly and addressing issues or concerns as they arise.
  • Support the external communication strategy by engaging stakeholders, ensuring consistent messaging, aligning with organisational goals and industry trends, and reviewing the strategy periodically.
  • Execute external communication releases by drafting clear and timely communications for external audiences, ensuring message clarity, alignment, and impact.
  • Execute content creation for social media, the website, and digital platforms to drive visibility and engagement.
  • Arrange external business events and conferences by coordinating with stakeholders, directing planning and logistics, and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and industry calendars.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of the Enaex corporate identity by supporting to define brand guidelines, overseeing branded collateral production, and supporting departments in maintaining brand consistency across all materials.
  • Apply a strategic mindset to position the brand competitively within the market.
  • Assist advertising activities by setting objectives, identifying target audiences, selecting platforms, booking placements, developing content, and monitoring performance.
  • Coordinate and execute external marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including digital media, print, PR, and trade shows.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance and return on investment, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Liaise with external partners, marketing agencies, media partners, and consultants to execute campaigns, and coordinate with industry associations, government, and clients for joint initiatives.
  • Oversee sponsorships for product divisions by identifying event objectives, allocating budgets, negotiating sponsorships, ensuring effective activation, and evaluating results against performance metrics.
  • Utilise digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and AI-driven solutions to enhance campaign targeting, personalisation, and impact.
  • Leverage data analytics for brand monitoring and insights-driven decision-making.
  • Explore and implement innovative technologies to improve marketing efficiency and the overall customer experience.
  • Assist to define departmental budget. Implement and manage expenditure within budget by understanding cost components, approving spending in alignment with financial policies, and conducting monthly reviews.
  • Monitor actual expenditure by analysing financial reports, identifying anomalies or areas of concern, and executing timely corrective actions.
  • Maintain ongoing SHE compliance by reviewing current practices, identifying deviations, and correcting them within established timelines.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders by facilitating regular communication, exchanging feedback, and supporting collaboration.
  • Manage service provider performance by tracking service level agreements, monitoring delivery against standards, identifying issues, and applying corrective actions when necessary.
  • Contribute to the team by actively participating in team events, identifying areas where support is needed, and providing the necessary assistance.
  • Engage with team members consistently and be an active, dependable presence in daily team activities.
  • Contribute to the sustainability strategy of the department
  • Ensure that the operations are aligned with sustainability principles, minimising environmental impact.
  • SAP, MS Office, Basic graphic design, Analytical tools
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, social media management tools)
  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
  • B Com / BA in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or similar
  • Driver's license
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Business management or similar
  • 5+ years' experience in marketing and communication
  • Experience in AI-driven and digital marketing tools and automation platforms (eg.
Google analytics, social media and management tools).
  • Knowledge of the mining or industrial sector.
  • Proven track record and experience in B2B marketing and stakeholder
communications.
