The Daily Coffee Group (www.drinkgoodcoffee.co.za) is looking for a passionate and creative Marketing & Communications Co-ordinator to take our brand to the next level.
You'll be responsible for content creation, social media management, customer loyalty marketing, franchisee support, and brand growth. If you love the coffee culture, have strong hands-on marketing skills, and can move fast and think creatively, we'd love to meet you!
Key Requirements:
3+ years marketing experience (hospitality/retail a plus)
Skilled with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp
Great copywriting and visual storytelling skills
Social media ad management (Meta Ads)
Strong content planning and reporting ability
Bonus:
Experience in franchising, photography, video editing, or SEO.
Role Overview:
As the Marketing & Communications Co-ordinator of The Daily Coffee Group, you will be responsible for planning, creating, managing, and executing all marketing and communication initiatives that support the growth and success of the brand across South Africa.
You will serve as the primary custodian of the brand's identity, ensuring consistency and excellence in all external and internal communications, customer engagement efforts, and franchisee marketing support.
You will operate as a standalone marketing lead within the business, collaborating closely with senior leadership and franchisees to build strong customer loyalty, drive foot traffic, support franchise growth, and enhance brand visibility across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and executing strategic marketing plans across digital and physical channels.
Managing The Daily Coffee Group's social media accounts, content calendars, and advertising efforts.
Producing customer and franchisee communications, including newsletters, loyalty program updates, and promotional materials.
Coordinating the creation of marketing materials such as posters, flyers, menus, digital content, and event campaigns.
Tracking and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize marketing efforts.
Ensuring brand consistency and quality across all franchise locations.
Supporting new store openings with marketing packs, promotional planning, and launch events.
Managing external service providers (e.g., photographers, printers) as needed.
Expected Skills and Attributes:
Strong creative, copywriting, and content creation abilities.
Good technical proficiency in key marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp)
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion.
Passion for coffee, customer experience, and lifestyle branding.
Strong organizational and reporting skills.
