Volt Africa Cape Town has an exciting and challenging position for a dynamic Marketing Assistant with a passion for content creation to join our team. In this role, you will support our marketing efforts while driving the production of high-quality, engaging content for digital platforms.

Marketing support:

Assist in the execution of digital and social media marketing campaigns.

Conduct market research to identify trends, audience insights, and growth opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support branding, promotional efforts, and events.

Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics and campaign results.

Assist with project management of marketing campaigns.

Content production:

Create and publish engaging social media & website content.

Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery and publication of materials.

Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative content ideas to captivate target audiences.

REQUIREMENTS

Skills and qualifications:

A degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.

Proven experience in marketing, content creation, or a similar role.

Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), social media platforms, and analytics tools.

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail.

Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and online advertising is an advantage.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
