The Role

The Marketing and Research Assistant will be at the heart of our Marketing and Research department, contributing significantly to our mission. Your main focus will be on market research, data analysis, and creating impactful packs and presentations. We're seeking someone with keen attention to detail, excellent organisational abilities, and a proactive mindset to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
  • Briefing by Team Leaders:
Regularly brief and be briefed by team leaders on marketing objectives, activities, and performance.
  • Liaison with Agency:
Coordinate and communicate regularly with external marketing agencies to ensure alignment and performance against objectives.
  • Handling Updates to Marketing Collateral:
Ensure all marketing materials like brochures, flyers, and online assets are up-to-date and aligned with the brand message.
  • Document & Presentation Creation, Edits & Updates:
Support in the formatting of board packs, creating presentations, and marketing materials for various internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure presentations are visually appealing, well-structured, and aligned with branding guidelines.
Assist in creating charts, graphs, and visual aids to convey information effectively.
  • Managing Marketing Suppliers and Procurement of Promotional Items:
Oversee supplier relationships and manage procurement processes for promotional materials.
Maintain an organised database of marketing materials, research reports, and presentations.
  • KPI Monitoring:
Track and report on marketing metrics to gauge the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Budget Management:
Manage the marketing budget for optimum return on investment.
  • Updates to LinkedIn Company Page:
Maintain and update the LinkedIn Company Page and at times various Executive members pages to reflect company news, updates, and achievements.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Coordinate departmental meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
  • Handle general (marketing) administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the Group Marketing teams periodically to ensure alignment on any updates or modifications to current or future marketing strategies or initiatives.
  • Campaign content development and efficient distribution of all communications will be your responsibility.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Executive and the Human Resources teams to strategise and implement 12-month event calendars.
  • Support the Human Resources team in crafting and posting recruitment content on platforms like LinkedIn and various job portals. Event Management Capabilities: Plan, execute, and oversee all aspects of event management, from trade shows to webinars and internal events.
  • Summarise research findings into comprehensive reports and presentations.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced PowerPoint skills, Social Media management skills.
  • Work under pressure and deliver all aspects of the job promptly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.
