Job Description

Implementation of companySA Media branding



Development of marketing material up to print-ready status. The time frame for the completion of every project will be agreed upon with the National Marketing Manager.



Ensure that you have a proactive approach and involvement in promotional campaigns as and when requested by the National Sales Manager.



Gathering of articles & testimonials and writing basic articles according to information supplied. These articles will be based on information supplied by technical advisors, who will write articles, information approved by Product manager and there after National Sales manager. The marketing assistant will be responsible for layout, design up to print ready status.



Roll out of media information to relevant media sources (Internally and Externally).



Interact and liaise with Media, including photo shoots for adverts, designing adverts and informing the parties involved of all arrangements and requirements timeously



Planning & execution of full Media plan and/or media material (adverts/advertorials)



Liaise with Product Managers; their annual plans will be included in the campaigns.



Responsible for supplying photos, layout of the brochure, and writing according to information supplied by any relevant person.



Submit to the agreed relevant person for final approval before sending it to media sources (As per National Sales Manager).



Ensure to communicate internal sales improvements, changes and any relevant sales or new company(Internal & local) information internally to keep all informed of new developments and marketing activities. This will include new product information, updates to products and new bag implementations.



Ensure that all the required information is received timeously to ensure that Events and sponsorships where De Heus is involved will be planned accordingly. The event request form will be completed and once approved by the National Sales Manager the Marketing office will arrange the payment, and items needed for the event and assist with the planning.



Creating video testimonials of customers



Administer and maintain marketing requirements



Responsible for companySA sales/ marketing uniform for all sales employees once a year (Design, order & purchase).



Marketing paraphernalia:

Sourcing of gifts and promotional items for customers and suppliers. Liaise with Regional Sales Managers.



Responsible for the design of the technical and product brochure and updating the brochure as and when needed by the Product Managers.



Source and design of all branding material including the administration regarding farm signs.



Ensure to administer the branded flags and items for Company use and educate employees about ordering and using branded items at specified events.



Drafting of surveys, and marketing questionnaires on e-format or conventional methods. Once the surveys and questionnaires are complete, analyze data and provide feedback to the National Sales Manager on findings.



Assisting in setting up and coordinating exhibitions/ promotional events/ Golf Days, and attending the events to facilitate success.



Arranging and facilitating the Dairy / Ruminant Central Training Week and National Meeting Week once a year.



Working closely with De Heus Global on Marketing projects



Administer and management of social media



Administration of the companySA website. Ensure that the website is always up to date and compliant.



All company newsletters and any other company product information needs to be regularly updated.



Administer and maintain the companyFacebook pages / Instagram page, updating the pages with the latest news locally and internationally.



Analyse data from social media pages by employing marketing analytics techniques to gather important data. Improve the visibility of social media and use the pages as a marketing platform.



The creation of Social Media campaigns for Facebook and Instagram



Administer and management of Mobile App



Administration of the ordering platform . Ensure that the App is up to date and customers are loaded on the App as the customer accounts are created.



When a customer is loaded on the App - the Marketing Office contacts the customer and assists with creating a password and sending information on how to place an order.



Ensure that any updates done within the App are working correctly and are being tested by the Marketing Office before the updates are released to the live environment



Removal and achieving customers on the App every 3 months.



Giving regular feedback to the sales manager about which customers are not placing orders via the App and requesting information to load the customer on the App



Administration of all helpdesks for the Ordering platform



Ensure that training is given to new users loaded on the App



Administer and management of Order and Truck Tracking



Administration of the Order Tracking platform. Ensure that the data received from ERP and GPSTS corresponds with the Order Tracking platform.



Investigate the cause when an order is automatically completed



Ensure all GPS coordinates are correctly completed on ERP for Order Tracking to work efficiently



Administration of all helpdesks for Order Tracking platform



Ensure all Companyvehicles and 3rd party delivery vehicles are being tracked correctly on Truck Tracking



Ensure that training is given to new users loaded on Order and Truck Tracking



Administer and management of CRM System - Skynamo



Administration of the Skynamo System



Ensure all customers and the correct details are loaded and linked to the correct Technical Advisor



Creation of Forms



Ensure that training is given to new users loaded on the CRM System



Administration of all helpdesks for the platform



General administration



Administer and coordinate marketing- & technical reports as required for social media



Compiling and distributing financial and statistical information such as budget spreadsheets to ensure that marketing is in line with budget.



Administer and coordinate bag stock levels and bag labels at the different branches. Ensure that all mills are up to date and informed of the bag stock levels at each branch and assist in ordering on behalf of the mills timeously before they run out of bags.



Responsible for the rollout of new bags and designing new bags and plates to the mills as and when received.



When the pricing department is on leave assist with the creation of CPL's, BPL's and SSP's



Administration of Market Research for retailers when needed by die Sales Managers



Ensure that products on ERP have the correct Packaging code linked to the product to ensure stock on hand is accurate. Regular lists to be sent to branches regarding packaging codes linked to products and images for empty bag for easy identification.



Requesting PO's and arranging of payments for all marketing related items for all the branches.



GR 12 Certificate



Marketing Diploma or Degree



Possession of a valid code 08/EB driver's license



3 Years' experience in similar role.



Experience in Marketing software programmes



Working knowledge with MS Excel, Word and Outlook



Working knowledge of marketing tools; Correl draw software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google AdWords.



Between 3 - 5 Years
