Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected
Marketing & Sales professional
to drive our international business development efforts. The ideal candidate should already have a
healthy, active network of international clients
, including travel agencies, tour operators, MICE planners, and other relevant travel trade professionals. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to grow revenue and strengthen our brand presence in key global markets.
As a Destination Management Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with clients, and promoting our destination management services both abroad and locally.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Leverage existing network to secure new business from international clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with global travel partners (B2B).
Identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships.
Represent the company at international trade shows, roadshows, and networking events.
Lead proposal development and contract negotiations with clients.
Set and achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
Marketing
Contribute to the creation of marketing strategies targeting international markets.
Collaborate on the development of digital campaigns, brochures, and presentations.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust positioning accordingly.
Work with the content and creative team to ensure alignment of messaging across all channels.
Manage CRM systems to ensure all leads, prospects, and activities are properly tracked.
Key Requirements
Must-Have:
Proven experience in a marketing and/or sales role within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
Deep understanding of the global travel trade and DMC business model.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability and willingness to travel internationally
2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the travel industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong knowledge of destination management principles and practices
Preferred:
Experience working in or with a Destination Management Company.
