We are seeking a Sales Strategy & Marketing Analyst to play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, analysing sales performance, and measuring the effectiveness of offline marketing activities. This role will focus on developing sales strategies, gathering insights from surveys, and optimising marketing investments to support sustainable business growth.
Unlike digital-focused analyst roles, this position will emphasise offline channels, customer surveys, and sales performance optimisation across retail, field, and traditional marketing activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Sales Strategy & Performance Analysis
Analyse sales trends, product performance, and regional sales data to identify opportunities for growth.
Develop actionable sales strategies and recommendations for management.
Provide insights into pricing, promotions, and customer purchasing behaviour.
Support the sales team with reporting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
Survey & Market Research Analysis
Design, manage, and analyse customer and market surveys.
Gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to uncover pain points and unmet needs.
Translate survey data into actionable recommendations for product positioning and sales approach.
Offline Marketing Effectiveness
Measure and analyse the impact of offline marketing activities (e.g., brochures, in-store promotions, events etc.).
Evaluate cost-effectiveness of campaigns and recommend optimisation strategies.
Conduct competitor and market landscape analysis for benchmarking.
Data Management & Reporting
Build dashboards and reports that summarise sales and marketing performance.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across sales reports and survey results.
Present clear, data-driven insights to senior management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to align strategies.
Support General and Regional managers with tailored insights into local sales drivers.
Provide input into targets based on analysis of sales and marketing returns.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or related field.
Coding experience in SAS or SQL
2-5 years' experience in sales analysis, marketing analytics, or strategy.
Proficiency in Excel, or Power BI, for reporting and dashboards.
Experience analysing offline marketing activities (events, promotions, traditional media).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to present insights clearly to senior leadership.
Strong experience with survey tools (SurveyMonkey, or similar) would be advantageous.
