Job Summary The role ensures stability and efficiency across Market Risk infrastructure platforms, delivers high?quality analysis, and supports effective risk management through clear articulation and resolution of complex issues.
Accountability: Business?As?Usual (BAU) Process Management
Manage daily BAU Market Risk operational processes to ensure accurate, timely, and stable output.
Monitor workflows, identify exceptions, and resolve issues efficiently to maintain risk reporting integrity.
Maintain documentation for all processes to support continuity and operational resilience.
Accountability: Technology Infrastructure Support
Support key Market Risk and Markets platforms including Front Arena, Front Cache, Mopane, and Time Series technical environments.
Work closely with Technology partners to troubleshoot system issues, manage enhancements, and ensure infrastructure stability.
Perform impact assessments and validation after upgrades or configuration changes.
Accountability: Data and Risk Metrics Quality Assurance
Oversee the quality, accuracy, and integrity of Market Risk data inputs, transformations, and outputs.
Ensure underlying time series and data feeds are consistent, complete, and aligned to risk metric calculations.
Identify upstream/downstream data dependencies and initiate corrective actions where required.
Accountability: Analysis and Problem Solving
Conduct detailed root?cause analysis for complex Market Risk issues and communicate findings clearly in an aggregated and understandable manner.
Offer practical process?driven solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve operational robustness.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define, design, and implement process improvements.

Support requirement gathering, testing, implementation, and post?go?live monitoring for project initiatives.
Education
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
