Job Description
Key Performance Areas
- Researching background information about client companies
- Conducting in-depth market research
- Developing reports and documents containing actionable recommendations for peers
- Manage internal client expectations regarding the depth of analysis contained within deliverables and on the timeliness of deliverables
- Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text
- Seek and provide information to help companies determine their position in the marketplace
- Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution
- Analyze market conditions or trends
- Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature
- Analyze industry trends
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in the minerals & commodities market as an analyst or researcher
- An ideal candidate for the job will have experience in the field of planning, executing and managing research projects
- Basic SQL experience
- University degree in business, marketing or related field.
- Experience in marketing and market research.
- Knowledge of sales, marketing and business processes.
- Strong project management skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Time management and organizational capabilities
