Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available within the medical device industry, for a Manufacturing Technician based in Cape Town.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric
- 0 - 2 years' experience in medical devices manufacturing
- Interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work under a deadline
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Assembly
o Execute assembly of components with precision to ensure a workable product
o Develop mastery on the equipment and production process
o Execute and coordinate equipment, process and product validation activities
o Adhere to production process protocol, work instruction and process improvement changes
o Perform work in a safe manner, notifying management of safety issues and risks
- Maintenance
o Conduct/assist with equipment calibration
o Inspect component quality
o Maintain a clean room environment according to regulatory requirements
o Meet and maintain training requirements
o Maintain proper documentation for quality and compliance matters
