Job Summary

Manufacturing Managing Executive (MBA /MBL + Eng Degree), Jhb West, Rneg

Strategy:

o Implement operational strategies as per Company Strategic business plans.

o Leading company and ensuring all employees buy into company vision.

o Planning and implementing long term business strategies to achieve the company's objectives.

o Assists in terms of layout, specifically with regards to new and improved technology and systems.

o General Management:

o Ensure all required processes are in place to run the business and ensure these are followed.

o Ensure monthly reporting deadlines are met.

o Maintain and develop strong working relationship with all clients and stakeholders.

o Ensure we drive and live the Company values through the business.

o Provide structure and company governance in accordance with accepted industry norms.

o Review and approval of specific contracts & T & C's for new projects.

o Provide management support of key departmental managers, i.e., Sales and Marketing, Operations, Finance, and HR.

o Work with IT to identify and introduce technological advances to meet the company competitive objectives within the marketplace including computer-based software.

o Lead the implementation of new manufacturing initiatives and adherence to best practice.

o Work with Financial Manager to introduce financial management protocols.

o Work alongside HR to provide strong leadership and direction to the employees, ensuring a strong, motivated workforce at all times

. o Evaluate and decide upon key investments in maintenance, new equipment, infrastructure and skills.

o Communicate strategy, goals and results to employees in the Feedback sessions, twice a year.

o Ensure management team is correctly positioned and staffed to effectively manage each critical part of each business effectively and provide proper, detailed, timeous feedback.

o Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources

o Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

o Analyze data to inform operational decisions or activities

o Analyze operational records to improve efficiency.

Attend/Chair disciplinary enquiries when necessary.

o IT:

o Manage the IT team at CLIENT

o Provide necessary support to the team.

o Conduct annual performance reviews.

o Operations

o Budget Control.

o Proactive management of perceived future challenges and problems

. o Manage the shortcomings and failures within the company proactively and efficiently and ensure that the loop is properly closed on each event.

o Ensure a safe workplace without risk to health.

o Ensure Health and Safety compliance to legislative requirements.

o Oversee improvement of procedures affecting the schedule, quality, and cost of manufactured products.

o Change Management

o Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.

o Assure the alignment of change activities with organizational strategic objectives and define a change management strategy.

o Assess the change impact and organizational readiness for changes.

o Identify and manage anticipated resistance and ensure stakeholder engagement.

o Coach and assist senior managers in fulfilling the role of change sponsors and change drivers.

o Provide direct support and coaching to line managers and supervisors as they facilitate transitions with their direct reports.

o Consult and coach project teams and assist in integrating change management activities into project plans.

o Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.

o Reporting

o Evaluating performance and the company growth plan by compiling, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics with frequent management reporting and forecasting to the Management team and Board of Directors.
