Strong negotiation and problem solving skills

Ability to mentor and coach sales teams to achieve set budgets/targets

Experience on CRM systems

5 -10 years Senior Account Management/sales experience

Previous Supervisory/Management experience advantageous

Experience working with clients at a C-Level position

Experience working with ley decision makers both externally and internally

Budgeting and forecasting experience

Experience in prospecting for new business

Experience in achieving retention targets set

Tender Management

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Good numeracy skills

Able to travel extensively


Electives





Sound geographical knowledge of South Africa

Self-motivated

Good communication skills

Previous experience in a similar role in the Courier/freight industry


Main Purpose of the role





The main purpose of this role is to maintain and grow the revenue in the Kwa-Zulu Natal, managing a sales team to achieve set monthly targets and budgets.


Duties and responsibilities





Manage the maintenance and growth of revenue objectives for the allocated region.

Meet monthly and annual budgets and targets.

Manage, coach and lead a team of Sales Executives and/or Business Development Managers, New Business.

Ability to assist Sales Reps to convert opportunities into active trading business.

Involvement in strategic accounts at a Senior Level to ensure relationships are maintained. Contract negotiation.

Tender submission reviews.

Manage internal relationships to ensure service delivery optimization and continuous improvements based on engagements with C-Level customers.

Monthly billing and financial reporting shared with the various stakeholders.

General administrative duties - daily.

Ability to be a strong DSV brand ambassador and create a positive, dynamic and healthy sales culture.

Analysis of sales-related information and report weekly to Sales Director and/or GM, Sales.

Ensure maintaining client data and update regularly.

Continuous reporting on competitor and industry analysis.

Assist in tender/proposal production and delivery. (preparation and presentation)

Create sustainable value for customers by adopting an innovative approach to their business.

Ensure the team execute proper implementation and communication of signed business to shared with all stakeholders. Management of debtor's days of clients within the companies' requirements.

Ensure regular Inter department communication.

Identifying cross silo solutions and work with other Department heads to ensure successful partnerships Ensure team maintain and record activities within the CRM system. Automotive background experience advantageous.

Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail

Professional conduct & appearance at all times

Change management and project exposure advantageous

Identify vertical or avenues to maintain and grow revenue

Reporting day to day to the GM Sales

Weekly and Monthly reporting
