Santam has a position available as the Quality Standards and Compliance Manager within the Quality Assessments department. The Quality Assessments function operates with a management mandate in the 2nd line of defense, providing an independent, objective assurance and advisory service to assist business in enhancing the overall operational governance, quality, and service standards. We are looking for a highly professional and driven individual to assume this role based in Centurion Pretoria (Hybrid). The position reports to the Manager Quality Assessments.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Supply chain management research, development, project management, claims business initiatives, quality standards, compliance standards and documentation, contributing to the overall profitability of the Quality Knowledge Management, Group Sourcing and Claims Management business areas.
Develops and owns claims supplier governance methodologies, governing policies and procedures, supplier quality service and compliance standards, and specifications that serve as input into Santam's claims procurement supply chain management, reviews, quality annexures to supplier agreements and SOP's.
Ensures legal, regulatory and Santam policy, philosophy and process alignment and compliance, with regard to all claims suppliers, influence industry stakeholders to uplift and enhance standards, compliance and practices in the respective industries. Management of new ad-hoc strategic projects within the claim's supplier environment.
