Manager: Nursing Optimisation Manager

Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Nursing Optimisation Manager who will be responsible to plan, organise, execute and monitor all Clinical (Nursing) and Non-Clinical Agency work across the Group. The incumbent is accountable for establishing and driving Group wide initiatives aimed at increasing efficacies, minimising redundancies, and increasing cost efficiencies for Agency Personnel.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver on the nursing and agency optimisation operating plan
- Maintenance of Hospital Nursing standards for Agency Staff
- Function as a Nursing subject matter expert
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration
- Manage self and show up as a contributor and team player
- Monitor Costs and expenses
- Establish reporting best practice for area of responsibility
- Deploy an integrated risk management, governance, and compliance framework throughout the business
- Diploma in General Nursing or B Cur Degree
- Post-Graduate Nursing Degree
- Nursing and Patient Care
- Legislation, policies, procedures, and standards relevant to nursing
- Knowledge in healthcare related quality management and improvement
- Computer Literacy
- Conflict Management
- Leadership skills
- Commercial and business orientation
- 5-7 years' experience in Nursing Management
- Demonstrable experience in managing an organisation's risk function
