About the Role:
SA Cargo is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our national strategy for customer retention, business growth, and new client acquisition. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving commercial success in the logistics and cargo industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute national sales strategies aligned with business goals.
Drive customer retention initiatives and identify growth opportunities.
Lead new business development efforts across key sectors.
Manage and mentor a high-performing national sales team.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, and finance.
Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with internal and external standards.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Logistics or related field (Postgrad advantageous).
5-10 years' experience in sales and business development, preferably in logistics or cargo.
Proven success in managing national sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven sales tools.
Willingness to travel nationally.
