Komatsu Customer Finance Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Manager: Komatsu Customer Finance Africa (Pty) Ltd (KCFA) to lead and grow its retail funding function within the Finance Department at Head Office in Germiston. This is a unique opportunity to shape and expand a critical business area in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
? Qualifications:

  • BCom Honours in Accounting (essential)
  • MBA (advantageous)
? Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years in credit risk management or financial services (banking)
  • Proven experience in setting up and managing similar functions
Key Responsibilities
? Business Development of KRF
  • Track market trends and competitor strategies
  • Develop and implement (KCFA) growth plans with internal stakeholders
  • Establish and assist in managing a new (KCFA) entity within Komatsu South Africa (Pty) Ltd
  • Collaborate with Sales, monitor budgets, risks, and customer data
  • Report on portfolio growth and present strategic insights
? Customer Retail Funding Management
  • Build internal and external networks
  • Develop marketing and credit strategies
  • Evaluate financing requests and manage repossessions
  • Liaise with Treasury, Tax, Accounting, and Risk functions
  • Monitor full lifecycle of financing agreements
  • Draft reports for internal, global, and legislative bodies
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies and legislation
  • Monitor fraud risk, SAP data integrity, and cycle times

  • Drive departmental strategy, policy development, and performance monitoring
? Human Capital
  • Manage staffing, development, and HR reporting
? Financial Oversight
  • Lead budgeting, expense control, and audit compliance
? Governance
  • Ensure IFRS compliance and monitor governance adherence
? Contracts
  • Oversee legal compliance and supplier agreements
? Change Management
  • Lead change initiatives and stakeholder engagement
? Leadership Development
  • Coach staff, support training plans, and assess leadership potential
