What You'll Do As the Manager: Finance - Credit Legal, you will be at the forefront of our financial operations, orchestrating the intricate dance between pre-legal, legal, and bad debt collection activities. Your role is pivotal in safeguarding our financial health through proactive analysis, strategic planning, and innovative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Craft and implement cutting-edge collection and recovery strategies with a focus on long-term effectiveness.
• Attorney Coordination: Ensure our legal partners adhere to Service Level Agreements and meet collection targets.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of credit controllers and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Debtor Management: Engage with problematic debtors, developing tailored solutions to mitigate financial risk.
• Policy Adherence: Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across all activities.
• Financial Oversight: Authorize financial documents, manage collection targets, and oversee legal accounts to identify and address potential risks.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare comprehensive reports, handover files, and bulk updates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Age Analysis Focus:

• Eliminate unallocated credit balances older than 30 days.
• Address debit balances older than 30 days.
• Ensure no active billing on legal/bad debt accounts.
• Handle ad hoc requests from the General Manager: Legal Credit.

What We're Looking For

• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Law.
• Experience: A minimum of 4+ years in Credit Management/Legal.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and proven experience in team management.
