Manager: Finance - B4A Western Cape - Cape TownFull job descriptionTeam ManagementTo lead, develop, motivate, and manage the performance of the team and ensure an optimally skilled, motivated and high-performance teamAccounting and ReconsReview of accounting and recon packsTrial balancingResponsible for checking statements of all debits and credits in a double-entry account book, with any disagreement indicating an errorReview Balance Sheet reconsReview statement of the assets, liabilities, and capital of the business at a particular point in time, detailing the balance of income and expenditure over the preceding period.Review Management AccountsReview summarized accounting data (balance sheet, cash flow, and income statement) prepared and presented specifically for management.Authorize PaymentsResponsible for the authorization of paymentsAuditing of the organization's accountsResponsible for auditing and inspecting the organization's accountsBudgetingApprove or reject budgetsConduct Risk ManagementForecasting and evaluation of financial risks together with the identification of procedures to avoid or minimize their impactAdherence to company ComplianceTo uphold and promote the company values and culture Grade 12Minimum B.Comm Accounting degree of higher financial qualificationExperienced in full accounting functionExperienced in financial management4-5 years' experience in a middle management position, managing team of finance employees
