Purpose of Job

Interpret, develop, and implement a SHE Integrated Management System. Ensure proper execution of the business SHE delivery strategy and plan through system compliance such as management of the relevant business SHE governance, reporting, and auditing coordination components. Coordinate a team of Enablement employees for the implementation and maintenance of enabling technology to meet relevant business process requirements, within the relevant governance framework and business / area-specific requirements. Ensure continued alignment with stakeholders, SHE Governance, Risk and Assurance team, and common good practices.

Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

Provide inputs into the Governance, SHE Risk and Assurance strategy. Interpret strategies, formulate plans, and manage their execution. Integrate the requirements for legal compliance and relevant management system audits for certification and assurance purposes. Provide inputs into the simplification and standardisation of SHE business processes and alignment of performance requirements. Ensure that no duplication exists between different systems. Ensure the implementation and development of governance requirements related to the systems and enabling technology to enhance the execution, effectiveness, and standardisation of SHE activities. Establish, implement, and maintain the functional and technical integrity of enabling technology to enable SHE business processes. Ascertain that management systems are effective and optimised to ensure that the execution of SHE processes are simple, user-friendly, and aligned with established governance. Establish and ensure alignment within governance requirements of SHE document records. Monitor, audit, and verify SHE practices and performance as guided by the combined assurance model, for the purposes of assurance, compliance, disclosure, and risk based field verifications. Consolidate and align reports within the SHE governance framework. Ensure consolidation across sites as per service delivery agreement. Coordinate the establishment, tracking, monitoring, review and reporting of SHE objectives, targets, and programmes for the business in collaboration with the VP SHE Manager. Identify area-specific audit trail requirements and conformance detail for the business. Plan and coordinate business internal and external management audits where required. Facilitate preparation for internal and external audits and act as auditor when required. Provide input during the development of business and area-specific corrective actions arising from internal and external audits. Formulate and manage budget within SHE Enablement budget targets and ensure optimisation of enablement, conformance, and assurance resources. Ensure that business objectives, targets, and game plans are cascaded to individual performance management plans. Manage and optimise utilisation of resource requirements in accordance with resource management requirements. Develop enabling technology training material and ensure that it focuses on key system enablement activities, addressing SHE risks as determined by system hosting role. Participate in SHE committees, forums, and technical work groups. Manage relations with SHE function and other stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable, and sustainable operations are enabled by procedures an toolkits to support the implementation of SHE performance requirements. Identify key SHE stakeholders and develop, implement, and maintain the SHE stakeholder approach. Govern the SHE stakeholder management process. Monitor and manage stakeholder expectations. Ensure regular interaction with relevant stakeholders.

Formal Education and Experience

Bachelors Degree with 11 years' relevant experience or

Honours Degree with 10 years' relevant expereince
