Job Description

This well-established estate with multiple food and beverage outlets is seeking an experienced Management / Cost Accountant to join the team. Responsibilities:

• Taking full responsibility for Pilot and Semper system
• Oversee processing of invoices and transfers into Pilot
• Process all Pilot food and beverage invoices, transfers, and credit notes in Pilot
• Pull operational reports on costing and margins as operations request
• Produce weekly revenue report
• Oversee the physical stock transfer and receipt function
• Ensure Pilot is always up to date with stock lists, recipes, links, and PLU items
• Assist financial accountant in reconciling Pilot and Semper
• Monthly and weekly stock takes
• Variance reports
• Reconcile intercompany sales and transfers
• Stock ordering

Skills & Qualifications required:

• Advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistics
• Understanding of organizational accounting concepts
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Ability to prepare financial reports and give recommendations based on available data
• Superior knowledge of financial reporting software tools and ERP software
• In-depth knowledge of financial guidelines and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication, including writing, speaking and active listening
• Collaboration and teamwork
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Hospitality background essential
• Degree in accounting or finance
• Own reliable transport
