My client within the financial services sector is seeking to appoint a high-calibre Management Accountant to support and enhance their finance function. This role is integral to ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong governance, and effective decision-making. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, operational compliance, and management reporting, while overseeing financial controls, data integrity, and in-depth economic analysis to support business performance and strategic objectives.
Job description
IFRS Reporting
Monitor and analyse financial and operational performance against budgets and forecasts
Review, approve and manage budgets across various cost centres
Maintain and enhance financial controls and internal governance frameworks
Perform detailed financial, operational and cost analysis
Cost accounting and margin analysis
Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs
Support forecasting and cash flow planning
Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with operational teams
Provide financial insights and recommendations
Assist with audits and ad-hoc financial projects
Skills & Experience
Advanced Excel skills
Power BI reporting and dashboard development
Qualification
SAIPA / SAICA Articles or
CIMA
