The MS WAN Operations Manager role is a central point for evaluating, optimising and standardisation of managed Network and Carrier services. It focuses on the enablement of the operational teams to effectively deliver on required service levels and the optimisation of the services on a proactive basis. Resolution of major incidents that are escalated from the operational teams. Perform due diligence to ensure services are scoped correctly, risks are highlighted to the business and successfully transitioned to the operational teams.

Working at NTT

  • Oversees the technical support, engineers, and support specialists.
  • Manages and monitors the implementation of operational activities and processes in order to deliver on approved operational plans and to continuously enhance service delivery.
  • Manages all aspects of service delivery that relates to operational and client SLAxe2x80x99s thus ensuring continued focus on the execution of agreed services plans and initiatives.
  • Operational service delivery enablement that supports client operating models.
  • Perform advanced issue analysis and resolution.
  • Adhering to the major incident process as outlined by the business.
  • Transition services to operational teams.
  • Conduct technical assessments on client environments and participate in service improvements.
  • Comply with the companyxe2x80x99s risk procedures and policies.
  • Design deliverables and targets through analysis of the business operational plans for employees in technology area.
  • Resource the technology area with the right talent and skills across all levels.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to employees on how to improve and sustain their performance and foster a culture of development and continuous learning.
  • Assess capability in technology area and maintain a drive of continuous certification and technology relevance.
  • Lead the area by managing talent related processes.
  • Lead the area in such a manner as to foster innovation and technological excellence.
  • Develop strategic relationships with all vendors, forging these relationships to manage agreed SLAxe2x80x99s for assurance highlighting non-performance against SLAxe2x80x99s and initiate service improvement plans.
  • Compile metrics reports relating to performance, systems and people in focus area of technology.
  • Identifies risk areas and non-compliance and reports on solutions.
  • Commercial management and budgeting.
What will make you a good fit for the role?

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • 7 - 10 years Technical and Management experience.
  • Technical knowledge relevant to Carrier and Network operations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Networking Solutions. And have a thorough understanding of Networking principles.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, Network analysis and common problem resolution.
  • In-depth understanding of commercial Networking offerings of the major vendors.
  • CCNA, CCNP Certifications.
  • ITIL foundation v4 certification.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and related infrastructure concepts.
  • Have a broad level of knowledge across Enterprise Architecture, Managed Services, Service Management consulting, and multiple solutions areas (Business Units), and across domains, delivery units, and geographies.

  • Microsoft Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy concepts
