Job Description

Position: Male Facilitator for Teenager with Autism Responsibilities: Personalized Support: Provide one-on-one assistance and support to a teenage individual with autism in various settings, including home and school. Skill Development: Implement tailored strategies to enhance social skills, communication, and daily living skills based on the teenager's unique needs and goals. Building Connections: Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the teenager, encouraging social interaction and engagement with peers and the community. Collaboration: Work closely with the teenager's family, caregivers, teachers, and other involved professionals to ensure a cohesive and holistic support approach. Adaptive Strategies: Utilize adaptive techniques and positive reinforcement to address challenges and promote positive behaviors. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of progress, achievements, and challenges, providing regular updates to the support team. Qualifications: Empathy and Understanding: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with autism, coupled with genuine empathy and patience. Experience: Previous experience working with teenagers on the autism spectrum is preferred. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with the teenager, family, and other support professionals. Flexibility: Ability to adapt to the dynamic and evolving needs of the teenager and their environment.
