Our prominent and leading client, operating in the manufacturing space, and based in Port Elizabeth, is seeking to employ a experienced Maintenance Technician with a mechatronic / automation background.

Requirements:
- 3 Year Mechatronics Diploma or Preferably 4-year B. Tech degree.
- Must have at least 5 years working experience in automation / mechatronics environment.
- Proficient in Siemens PLC, HMI and drives including servo drives (S7-300/400) and (S7-1200/1500); Siemens fieldbuses, Profibus and Profinet; Delta PLC and HMI, DVP series PLC and DOP HMI.
- Rexroth Servo Drives and EMC; Festo Servo Drives, EMC and fieldbus pneumatic valves; Temperature controllers and thermocouples, industrial sensors and transducers; Electrical design with EPLAN Electrical P8 or newer (Optional).
- CNC Knowledge (Optional).
- Maintain all production machines.
- New Installations and commissioning.
- Retrofitting/Upgrading existing machines including commissioning.
- General Electrical and Electronic repairs.
- Fault Finding on Break Downs in Plant.
- Responsible for preventative maintenance programs.
