VACANCY: Maintenance Supervisor (MS2025)
The Donald Brown Group is a dynamic organisation in the salt industry and requires a
hands-on and experienced Maintenance Supervisor
to join our team inUpington
.The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing a variety of
maintenance-related duties
across multiple sites and departments.Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily maintenance activities
Perform and oversee electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance
Ensure equipment and facilities are well-maintained and in safe working order
Manage maintenance staff and allocate tasks effectively
Monitor maintenance schedules and keep accurate records
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Support continuous improvement and preventative maintenance initiatives
Knowledge and Skills
Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance practices
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate (advantageous)
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites
Remuneration: Market-related
