The Maintenance Supervisor at Toro Lodge is responsible for overseeing all maintenance and repair activities across the property to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of lodge facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. This includes managing preventative maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs, supervising maintenance staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements
Proven experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in a lodge or hospitality setting.
Strong technical knowledge (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs).
Hands-on approach with problem-solving ability.
Excellent time management and team coordination skills.
Valid driver's licence advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and perform maintenance tasks across all lodge facilities.
Conduct regular inspections to identify repair and preventative maintenance needs.
Manage maintenance schedules and allocate tasks to team members.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors when necessary.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory of tools and materials.
