Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Maintenance Superintendent to lead and inspire the team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant maintenance, ensuring optimal equipment performance, adhering to strict safety and environmental regulations, and driving cost-effective solutions for maximum shareholder value.

Responsibilities:

Identify and assess risk exposures (business, financial, legal, people, equipment, environment, etc.)
Implement control measures and manage SHEQ compliance.
Foster an enabling culture and minimize labor turnover.
Manage performance, conduct career discussions, and ensure discipline.
Hire and develop talent while meeting diversity targets.
Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Define equipment criticality and manage maintenance strategy.
Solve problems, implement sustainable solutions, and select vendors.
Ensure adherence to work management principles, optimize plant availability, and manage assets.
Analyze reports, investigate exceptions, manage warranty claims, and approve contractor use.
Drive continuous improvement and develop team capabilities.
Manage section costs effectively.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

6 yearsxe2x80x99 relevant experience, preferably 2 yearsxe2x80x99 managerial experience
Degree or National Diploma (Mechanical Engineering)
Government Certificate of Competency (Mines & Works)
Project Management Certificate (PPM)
Demonstrate an understanding of good knowledge on Mechanical and Electrical equipment
Instrumentation knowledge
